AREA FORUM/WARD GRANTS
Matter for Consideration:
To consider applications under the Area Forum/Ward Grants Schemes.
Information:
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £15,000 to each Ward and the Area Forums have been awarded budgets equivalent to £7,500 per ward covered for the financial year 2014/2015. The funding for either scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillors Mrs Greenhalgh and Hutton of Clifton Ward have requested:
(i)£2,400 as a donation towards the full resurfacing of the BMX track located on Mereside Recreational Ground.
(ii)£150 as a donation to Mereside Link-Up towards the set-up and advertising of an Easter Event for the young people of the local community.

Councillors Lee and O’Hara of Waterloo Ward have requested £600 as funding towards 27 window panes to reglaze the Watson Road Park Pavilion.
